Custom Raised Pork
Put tasty, lean pork on your table.
We raise your hog for you, purchasing a small feeder pig and then raising it to butcher size just for you.
We use IFA hog feed, and supplement with alfalfa and non-GMO corn. From time-to-time, your hog may also get fresh fruit and vegetables.
Once purchased, your hog is ready for your freezer in about 4 months.

You can plan on about 126 pounds of meat for your freezer.
You can get chops or roasts, ribs, picnics, Boston butts
hams, bacon, sausage, hocks, etc.
Once we receive your deposit of $212.50 with the remaining amount due in 60 days, we purchase your feeder pig, and place it under our care.
When your hog is ready to go to market, we will notify you and then deliver your hog to Custom Meat Shop.
You must pay them for the processing. That amounts to around $110 depending upon how you want your meat prepared.
Here’s their actual charges.
Slaughter: $40
Cut and wrap: .45 per lb.
Curing and smoking: an additional .45 per lb. for whatever you choose to have made into hams and bacon.
That means you will have spent $425 for your hog, about $110 for processing, cutting and wrapping. You’ll be putting about 126 pounds of meat into your freezer. That is the equivalent per pound price average of $4.25 per pound.
