Welcome to Backyard Aquaponics

Four Country Gals is now entering another phase of our overall farm plan. We’re building a backyard aquaponics system. We are happily sharing our adventure in the hope that you, too, will choose to build and use a backyard aquaponics system.

This is a true “do-it-yourself project. We first researched it on the Internet and found most systems are built in Australia. Cindy eventually connected with a fellow in northern Utah, who confirmed that tan aquaponics system would work well here.

Cindy then found an excellent book to download and since then, this project has consumed us.

What you’ll want to do is get on our newsletter list. That way, you’ll get more information than what we can even put on this blog. We promise your information is safe with us.

As we build this blog, you will find links to the book we got, links to other backyard and commercial auquaponics sites, as well as our own pictures and videos

Happy reading,
Shari

About Us

We are Four Country Gals working on our latest DIY project… Backyard Aquaponics.

Mom is our octogenarian. She is really Cindy’s mother. One of the most important things she does, is keep the kitchen in order.

Cindy has been everything from a commercial pilot, to park ranger, to police officer, to farm worker.

Bev is a retired police officer and is also a cancer survivor.

Shari is a former business owner, and is also the main copywriter for this project.

Together, we are the Four Country Gals. We live on a small farm in Beryl, Utah and have been reclaiming the land for 5 years. You can read our entire story at FourCountryGals.com
