Hi, Shari here… I’m the author of this blog (soon to be book). I’ll be using this area to update you about changes to previous posts.

From time to time, I’ll post the story before I find the pictures and will then have to go back and find/upload the pictures.

Be sure to stop by frequently and check for updates.

Aug 30, 11:30AM MDT:

I’m off to work on our building projects. That means a long trip to and from Cedar City and unloading a truck full of lumber. Posts will be spotty from now through Labor Day, as we have to finish 2 stables in the horse barn, and hand pull 4 railroad ties (part of our corral) and move them to some pre-drilled holes.

We also have to finish the chicken’s nest boxes. Perhaps we’ll get the frost-free hydrant installed. It’s been laying by the big hole next to the chicken coop for about 2 months.

Aug 31 11:40AM MDT:

I’ve updated the first post “Back to the beginning…” to correct a timeline and also added pictures.

Aug 31 1:25PM MDT:

More updates… be sure to check all posts as I’ve added still more details.

Thanks very kindly to Cindy, who took the time last evening to very carefully read the blog and rack her memory for additional details.

This is a process we’ll use from time to time. I’ll write what I think happened, and Bev and Cindy will fill in the details. I’ll then edit the posts and add more detail, as well as pictures.

Sep 5 11:41AM MDT:

I’m back to work after a long weekend of working on farm projects.

Bear with me as I have installed an image gallery program and am now in the process of getting it fully integrated into the blog. From time to time, things may look a little screwy as I do various image, page, and post edits.

Sept 11, 7:20PM MDT:

The gallery is now usable. From time to time, the formatting may be a little screwy as I work on the stylesheets. I’m adding way more pictures into the gallery than will show up in the actual blog posts.

Sorry about the long delay. Life has gotten in the way a bit here at the farm. The “related blogs” will give you clues as to “what’s happening”.
